This large pastoral landscape is very well executed employing a sophisticated knowledge of light, color and perspective. The painting itself is measuring about 32 (81 cm) by 20 (51 cm), and the frame is measuring 38 (96 cm) by 26 (66 cm). It is signed and dated by the artist in the lower right corner, and there is a label and artists biography at the back from Wunderly Brothers Art Dealers in Pittsburgh. This painting would be a great addition to any collection. Francois Antoine Leon Fleury (18041858).
