He was awarded the Silver Metal of Honor at the 1889 Paris Exposition Universalle, and was made by the French state Chevalier de la Legion dHonneur in 1892. Beautiful antique bronze French Empire round coupe dish. The tray is very heavy and richly detailed featuring a center relief design.
